While working for a large retail company and spending a lot of time studying design work, I am surrounded by trends: design trends, fashion trends, and social media trends.

After years of neutral palette clothing and clean-girl makeup, bright colors and bold looks are making a comeback. Floral patterns are embroidered on jeans and sweaters, and printed on T-shirts and blouses. Animal print patterns are also returning. Cheetah print pants, sweaters, and jackets are all the rage. Faux leather pants and fur jackets are a “big deal,” while button-down shackets are populating every brand.

Social Media always features a variety of short-form videos of makeup transitions and “Get Ready with Me.” The use of AI integration is more widespread now than ever, with the leveraging of posts and the use of filters. It will be interesting to see how the use of AI furthers influencers.

In my opinion, some trends should stay dead.
