Walk for ALS

This weekend, I had the opportunity to attend a walk to support and spread awareness about ALS. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. It is fatal, seeing that there is no cure, but with support, a cure is possible.

I was honored to be the photographer for this event! While it was just a volunteer position, it was a phenomenal opportunity for a first-time photography gig, and it was a blast!

Four hundred and forty-two people attended, completing the 1.5-mile walk around Yankton Trail in Sioux Falls. What an incredible experience it was, and I am so proud to have been a part of this movement!
