Winter Blues

Winter in the Midwest is a miserable affair. It is always gloomy and dark, as the sun sets in the late afternoon. Temperatures plummet, and the wind is always blowing. It is hard to get motivation to do anything, and my creativity is at an all-time low. But it is important that even when I don’t feel “creative,” I get my brain moving – whether that is brainstorming, sketching, or playing around in my software. Researching, reading, or watching a show helps to get my creative juices flowing again. A designer never stops creating, and I can use everything around me as inspiration.
