Portfolio Campaign
Every year, the students in the Media Design program design a campaign for Southeast Tech’s Annual Portfolio Show. After months of tedious work, the campaigns are voted on.
The campaign needed to represent not only the Media Design and Digital Media Production programs, but Southeast Tech as a whole. It needed to be approved by the marketing team, but also show what these programs and this school is all about.
I wanted something timeless yet modern and fun, leaving an impact. Comic books are always relevant and have been for a hundred years. They are fun and colorful, and a well–designed comic leaves an impact on the reader. So that was the theme I adopted. I maintained the colors of Southeast Tech, and while I could have used orange and green for accents, I decided to keep the two blues for cohesiveness.
And my campaign was chosen! This put a lot of work on my plate to get the files ready, but my classmates were great about helping with the production. I was honored to be chosen, and it was a great, yet overwhelming, experience.
