Photography
Ever since I was little, I wanted to be a photographer – the art of capturing magical scenes and turning ordinary subjects into spectacles, to unearth the hidden beauty in every living creature, and dictate stories through my photographs.
Oh My Cupcakes
Making connections is important.
As we complete our program at Southeast Tech, we are given opportunities to connect with our local community and design professionals. For our personal magazine, we interviewed a small business of our choice. Not only did I get to talk to Oh My Cupcakes’ head baker, McKenna Skovly, I made a lasting connection.
I had the opportunity to attend two events with Oh My Cupcakes, providing photography services for their social media. They are so fun to work with, and I am very grateful for their support. I hope to maintain this connection.

Walk for ALS Fundraiser
I volunteered my photography services once again for Sioux Falls’ “Walk to Defeat ALS” Fundraiser. It was a great opportunity to get some real–world experience and support a good cause. I met some amazing people and got my name out there.
I don’t take any opportunity for granted, and will get any experience I can. I can only hope I do justice and represent the people and cause I am tasked to represent.
