This week, Scheels hosted an event called Touch a Truck, in which a variety of vehicles – firetrucks, cranes, police cars – from Sioux Falls were set up in their South Parking lot. The purpose was to give kids a chance to explore the vehicles and learn about the different careers. It was a great way for the people of Sioux Falls to get to know their first responders and maintenance crews.
Oh My Cupcakes also set up a tent, and as an employee of Scheels and being connected with Oh My Cupcakes, I offered to take photos for them. I want any experience I can get, and anything I can get for my portfolio is great. Oh My Cupcakes has always been so supportive of me and is very grateful for my assistance.
